the informal atmosphere of our family farmhouse. Guests have their
own bathroom and coffee and tea making facilities in their room. The house is surrounded by 70 acres of working pedigree Suffolk sheep farm. The river Monnow flows through the farm with fishing available by arrangement. The historic village of Longtown, with its 12th century castle provides an excellent base for walking in the beautiful surrounding countryside including the famous Offa's dyke. Longtown Village pride have recreated a medieval garden at the entrance to the castle called Broomes garden. At the centre of the village is the busy 'Crown inn' available for evening meals at excellent value, only a 5 minute walk from Tan House Farm. Click to view current rates. |
